Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to the official WWE Superstar of the Week thread! Each week the new superstar will be posted here along with some info on why they were selected.
This week's superstar is...........................
Jeff Hardy has been striving for years to become the best in the industry. He is a multiple time tag team champion, Intercontental Champion, European Champion, Light-Heavyweight Champion, and Hardcore Champion. And finally, this past Sunday at Armgaddeon he reached the pinacle by becoming the WWE Champion! This accomplishment also makes him the 18th Triple Crown Champion as well as the 7th Grand Slam Champion in WWE History.
Not only are his feats inside the ring impressive, but he has also overcome an array of problems in his personal life as well. His mother passed away from a brain tumor when he was only nine years old, and so he and Matt were raised by their father. Upon becoming older, Jeff has reportedly had problems with alcohol, resulting in his suspension from the WWE on two occasions as well as an public incident at an airport, causing some to doubt his dedication and strength. More recently, in an unfortunatle incident blamed on faulty wiring, Jeff's home in North Carolina caught fire and in additon to losing his home, Jeff's beloved dog Jack was killed in the blaze.
However, none of this has hindered Jeff's determination to be the best he can be and to show the world that he isn't just a mid-carder. Having finally grabbed that proverbial "brass ring" Jeff has shown us all that he can compete with the best of them, and that he truly can take anyone.....to the Extreme!!!
