Radcliffe Munday was born with an extraordinary gift: the ability to warp reality. No one at the time could discover the origins of such power. Following his birth, this gift, unhinged by his infancy, brought about chaos, but it also drew the attention of many powerful organizations, namely the most powerful of them all: The Ministrata - a shadowy organization that secretly runs the world. Experiments were conducted in the form of what was known as the "Advencher Project," in an attempt to harness this power for the good of mankind. However, to ensure that he would never become a threat, the Ministrata made sure that the extraction of Rad's powers caused them to invert. Rad could no longer warp reality to his will, but instead, reality now warped around him. Against his will. As a result, a strange phenomenon occurred, turning him into a magnet for the most outrageous and bizarre events of all time, born from what could very well be the human imagination. For the rest of his days, he was - for lack of a better implication - cursed to endure a life of constant and relentless "adventure," which sounds much more appealing in theory than in practice.
In present day, the adult Rad Munday, now a popular Internet sensation, a seasoned adventurer, and an accomplished academic with a Doctorate of "Paranatural" Philosophy, has come to terms with his peculiar life and has chosen to take his fate in stride. The lemonade to his lemons came in the form of an underground firm he founded called, "Advent-R-Us, LLC," a for-hire business specializing in "extreme services" - which covers just about every audacious task imaginable. Due to his strange condition, there's rarely a slow day at the office, but it allows him to make a living off of his forced adventures while filming various moments of his quests to post online for the curious, albeit skeptical viewers of his website. In between fighting Valkyrie in Asgard and assassinating futuristic gangsters in Neo-Japan, one of his firm's frequent customers, the Ministrata itself, have started employing Rad and his team to help them uncover the whereabouts of a renegade scientist who stole the research and DNA samples from the Advencher Project and went missing decades ago.
Rad could care less about the affairs of the shadowy organization responsible for his life of unrest, but because that research could prove catastrophic for the universe as we know it in the wrong hands, Rad and his loyal-as-long-as-they're-paid team, the "Back-up Dancers," must embark on countless journeys to ensure that they defeat ultimate evil and save the world or a nation or group or person or maybe even nothing - it all depends on the situation. After years of searching for answers, Rad can only hope that some day, one of these tiresome quests will yield him the results he's spent his whole life searching for. If he doesn't get himself killed first.
These are the Radical Advenchers of Rad Munday.
